President Trump told a crowd of supporters in West Virginia on Saturday night that he and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un “fell in love” after overcoming early hostilities.
“He wrote me beautiful letters and they’re great letters. We fell in love,” he said.
Even as North Korea cast fresh doubt on denuclearization negotiations on Saturday and lamented a lack of trust in Washington, Trump insisted, “We’re doing great with North Korea.”
“We were going to war with North Korea. Millions of people would have been killed. Now we have this great relationship,” he said.
Trump’s comments come after North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho told the UN General Assembly there’s “no way” Pyongyang will dismantle its nuclear program as long as it remains under U.S. sanctions. “The recent deadlock is because the U.S. relies on coercive measures which are lethal to trust-building,” Ri told the assembly.
A sweat-drenched President Donald Trump delivered a bizarre lie-filled rant about the history of the Democratic Party’s name during his Saturday night rally in West Virginia.
However, it is the Democratic Party—and has been for about 200 years. The Democratic National Committee, as the party is formally organized, has existed in its current form since 1848. It is the oldest political party in the United States—older than the “Grand Old Party” of Republicanism.
“It flows nicer—the Democratic Party, but the real name is the Democrat Party,” Trump falsely claimed. “I hate the way it sounds and that’s why I use it. But that’s the real name. The Democrat Party. When you see Democratic Party, it’s wrong. There’s no name, Democratic Party.”
Twenty years ago this month, the Ken Starr report came out accusing Bill Clinton of various sexual assaults. Let’s review what happened to the people who were involved in this report.
Henry Hyde, a Republican in the House of Representatives who helped lead Clinton’s impeachment, was revealed to have had a long-running extra-marital affair. He called it a “youthful indiscretion” — he was 41 years old at the time.
House Speaker Newt Gingrich — who led the charge to impeach Clinton — was at the same time having an affair with one of his staffers. He resigned as Speaker; she is now his third wife and is US Ambassador to the Vatican.
Gingrich’s replacement, Robert Livingtson, declined to be Speaker when it was disclosed that he, too, had an extramarital affair.
Instead of Livingtson, Republicans selected Dennis Hastert as Speaker. He was Speaker for eight years. Later, Hastert served time in federal prison for molesting young boys when he was a wrestling coach.
Independent counsel Ken Starr went on to become President of Baylor University. The University Board of Trustees forced Starr to resign when it was revealed that he covered up and ignored sexual assaults by Baylor football players.
However, at least one of Ken Starr’s staff members made good. Brett Kavanaugh likely will become a Supreme Court Justice. Unless, of course, we discover he committed sexual assaults while in high school or college.
Here’s video of Trump’s press conference today, Sep 26. WARNING: This video is one hour 21 minutes long.
Donald Trump is batshit crazy. This man is unhinged. He is out of touch with reality. If his lips are moving, he’s lying. In fact, when his mouth is closed, he is lying. He is not a sane man. He floats on a sea of bullshit. Anyone who votes for this clown is just as big a horse’s ass as he is, just as stupid.
I prefer Presidents who are not laughed at.
President Trump has long argued that the United States has been taken advantage of by other nations — a “laughing stock to the entire World,” he said on Twitter in 2014 — and his political rise was based on the premise that he had the strength and resolve to change that.
But at the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday, Trump got a comeuppance on the world’s biggest stage. Delivering a speech that aimed to establish U.S. “sovereignty” over the whims and needs of other nations, the president’s triumphant moment was marred in the first minute when he was met by laughter — at his expense.
The embarrassing exchange came when Trump boasted that his administration had accomplished more over two years than “almost any administration” in American history, eliciting audible guffaws in the cavernous chamber hall.
Idiot Trump supporters have been passing around this photo of Trump, claiming it shows him rescuing people from Hurricane Florence.
Just how stupid are you people? The photo is FAKE.
Here’s the real photo — from Hurricane Harvey in Texas, not Florence in the Carolinas . . . why do you think the boat has “AUSTIN FIRE RESCUE” (as in Austin, Texas) on the side?
Why would Trump be dressed in suit and tie? and handing the guy a “Make America Great Again” hat?
Damn, but you people are stupid, stupid, stupid !!!!
As further proof of just how goddam stupid you Trumpsters are, here’s another photo that’s been floating around. Fake one on the left.
